WTH?! What does one have to do with the other?

n

Lots, I say, lots.

n

Those modern terms are modern science’s attempt at classification, ofnsomething indigenous peoples used to or still do acknowledge today, ofnpeople with certain Gifts.

n

I think/feel it’s morally and ethically wrong to say that we have andisorder, an affliction, an illness.

n

However, there are things that we have to deal with day to day, nsometimes minute to minute, that “biochemicallyn’normal’”/“physiologically ‘normal’” people don’t have to deal with.

n

If a culture acknowledges us correctly, accepts us, and our gifts, nproperly, then I don’t think we have to go through as much of an ordealnas we do now. It’s already hard to live this way sometimes, we acceptnit, it comes with the territory, but people, please try to be morenempathic to our needs. We are to yours. We feel you all the time, wencan’t help it.

n

OK, now that I have that out of the way and of my chest, let’s get intonthe non-logical and logical sides of this.

n

I’m going to write a series of articles that cover things that I’venexperienced, for different things, like food, medicines – both westernnand traditional, experiences on various levels (mental, spiritual, nphysical, emotional), and more.

n

Stay tuned.
